Top 5 SEO Tips For Beginners

SEO is a very difficult and endless topic for bloggers to learn, and the more you learn the better. For the past 6 months of my blogging career, trust me, I’ve learned new SEO tricks every day from some blog site. But if you’re just starting out, you can’t be very technical in the early stages. So you have to start with his ABC first. Here, I’ll teach you. Some basic SEO tips that every beginner should learn right away.

1) Attractive post title

This is a very easy-to-learn SEO trick that ensures that every time you write a new article, the article title is very catchy. People never like to see a post with a very boring title. Let’s take this article as an example – a good title “Top 5 Killer SEO Tips for Beginners” and a boring title “Some SEO Tips”. Include some catchy headlines in the title of your post. In this case “Top 5 Killers”. When you search for something on Google, you get thousands of results, but are you really visiting them all? No, you only visit those that you think provide perfect information and that appeal to you.

2) Use social media

The main secret for beginners in SEO lies in social media. This is not a very complicated task, anyone can do it. You can reach everyone with social media. Use Facebook, Twitter and especially Google+. As the population on social networking sites increases compared to the street population, use your brand name to target an audience where you can find more people. It can drive huge traffic to your website, improving your search engine rankings.

3) Link pages

If you read Wikipedia, you can see the largest example for yourself. See how they link every post on their site in related posts? That is why their site bounce rate is so low i.e. none. of visitors contains only one pageview. So correlate your posts with each other and see the results for yourself. This tip keeps your audience on your website longer and ensures more visitors. Add a popular post widget below any post on your website or in the sidebar so people can see it clearly. This will help a lot.

4) Use a site map

Using a sitemap can help a lot as it just provides search engines with a map so they can easily navigate and index every page of your website. The WordPress platform has many popular plugins that can help you with this. One of my favorites and the one I use now is SiteMap XML. So go ahead and create a sitemap for your site and submit it to Google through the Webmaster Tools page.

5) Write guest posts

This can help you drive website traffic and build some backlinks. The main reason for this is that you are just starting out; therefore you probably won’t get many opinions. So if you write a guest post for a big site, you will definitely get backlinks from that post, and secondly, people can come to your own site from the guest post if they like. I occasionally write for a number of blogs, and I believe it’s just one of my posts there that drives a decent amount of traffic to my site.
